In this paper, a provably secure short certificateless proxy signature scheme is presented. It is an efficient proxy signature scheme with the shortest signature length compared with the other existing proxy signature schemes from pairings. It satisfies all the properties required for a proxy signature. We also provide complete security proofs for our new scheme. Our scheme is proved secure in the random oracle model with the assumption that the Computational Diffie-Hellman problem is infeasible.
