Tunable multiwavelength erbium-doped fiber ring laser with intensity-dependent loss

We theoretically and experimentally demonstrated that the number of output wavelengths of an erbium-doped fiber ring laser can be controlled by changing the phase bias of periodic intensity-dependent loss in the laser cavity.
