This paper presents the 3.4-GHz wideband bandpass filter using coupled compact microstrip-line that the bandwidth of this filter is approximately 55 percent of the central frequency at the return loss of 7.2 dB The parallel-coupled lines at the two sides are longitudinally stretched so as to raise the frequency dispersive coupling degree with the coupling peak near the center of the UWB. The main advantages of this filter are its small size, low cost, high quality factor and low radiation loss.
