Making the aviation industry cluster, a typical trans-regional innovation cluster, as the research object and based on the characteristics of the aviation industry cluster, this study suggests that the innovative action of aviation industry cluster is characterized by diversified innovation subjects, trans-regional, omnibearing, cooperative and three-dimensional innovative methods, and a huge amount of knowledge transfer. This study, based on the analysis on the subjects and external environment of the cooperative innovation of the aviation industry, builds up the cooperative innovation system model of the aviation industry. It is believed in this study that the innovation of the aviation industry is a process during which all trans-regional innovation subjects cooperate and interact with each other and make use of their mutual complementary advantages under the restrictions of the external environment.
