In this paper, in order to satisfy the requirement of processing location dependent continuous queries which mobile terminal users submit in the mobile computing environment, we studied the location dependent query process architecture and popular mobile agent technology, proposed a model for managing the location dependent continuous queries based on mobile agents. We also designed the main processing algorithm and simulated the evaluation of the model. The simulation results proved that the model can efficiently process the location dependent continuous queries.
