The key technology of Next generation distance education mobile platforms is the mobile IPv6 protocol implementation technology in real time embedded operating system environment on handheld hardware platform. This paper the main design goal standards is to IETF's RFC document as the basis to establish the basic framework for mobile IP,for the existing protocol stack to provide mobility support. The introduction of Mobile IPv6 module for IPv6 protocol stack adds new features, enables network nodes to change the network connection point, run the application in the node without modification or configuration is still available. Focuses on the mobile IPv6 protocol in real-time embedded operating system Vxworks was implemented.
