Studies on Seam tracking technology has very important significance to ensure weld quality and improvement of the welding efficiency. In this paper, the arc sensing system is analyzed, information of seam deviation was obtained by characteristic harmonics method, a fuzzy controller is designed to simulate and test, the results indicated that the control system can achieve seam tracking.
