Grid resource discovery deserve a important role in grid . in the sensor grid resource discovery process, the communication between the sink base on broadcast, thus the flooding algorithms commonly used in grid resource discovery. but the algorithm can easily lead to broadcast storms in the process. In this paper, drawing on small-world network model, proposed a modified flooding algorithm which makes the communication between sinks similar to base on multicast .The modified flooding algorithm can greatly reduces the complexity of information in resource discovery process and reduce the occurrence probability of broadcast storms. Through the theoretical analysis of the algorithm, the improved algorithm performance on the Information complexity marked improvement.
