The role of MICE service industry in current economy has been widely acknowledged. It is widely accepted that the extension of MICE service industry chain would be an effective method to bring along relevant industries. While on literature review we can acknowledge that the systematic research on MICE service industry chain is limited, thus this paper aims to provide a theoretical explanation on the formation of MICE service industry chain, and makes thorough explanation on the connation, function and inner structure of MICE service industry chain, then along with the process of value making, this paper further analyze the value chain of MICE service industry, and determine the inner value chain and outside value chain, thus we can conveniently distinguish the direct and indirect related MICE service departments. The research would have active meanings for us to acknowledge an make full use of MICE service industry chain to accelerate its strength for economic and social development, also can aid the relevant directors and managers to acknowledge the role of MICE service industry chain in the current economy and make more objective decisions.
