This paper presents the implementation of reflectarray antenna to produce nearfield focused patterns in a target area, which is very useful for the RFID reader applications. Numerical investigation has exhibited good characteristics. Since reflectarray has less complexity than phased array antennas in the beam-forming, it has created great potentials in realistic applications.
