Content-based 3D model retrieval technology has become one of the hottest research spots. In order to improving the performance of retrieval, this paper proposed a method which based on the distribution surface area of 3D model and integrating with user's semantic features. we conducted retrieval experiments, the results shown that the retrieval accuracy and efficiency are both improved.
