Traditional processing methods for parts were qualitatively analyzed with experiences, lacking of quantitative analysis of processing methods. In the current paper, quantitative analysis of processing methods for manufacturing features was explored and researched: analyze the content and classification for the manufacturing features, choose characteristic indexes of manufacturing features based on grid close-degree and optional close principle, establish the membership functions of various factors for manufacturing features, build the standard library of processing methods for manufacturing feature, calculate the corresponding membership degree of manufacturing features for prefabricated parts based on above-mentioned membership functions, compute the grid close-degree between prefabricated parts and standard library and apply optional close principle to determine processing methods of manufacturing features for prefabricated parts. Combining with VC + + and object-oriented thought, an automatic fuzzy comprehensive system of processing methods for prefabricated parts was developed. Finally, the automatic fuzzy comprehensive system for prefabricated parts based on manufacturing features was tested by an example and system operation. The instance and system operation results showed that the system has been validity, accuracy and reliability.
