In this paper, the demand of information technology in modern logistics management is, in the first place, introduced and it is pointed out that the informationization of logistics management is the infallible requisition of electric commerce. Then, the advantages of data mining applying to logistics management are expounded. At last, on the basis of the analysis about the structure and characteristics of logistics information system based on data mining, the key techniques are analyzed.
