In order to calculate optimal irrigation schedule of crop to improve the water efficiency in agriculture, the optimal model based on hyperplane real coding genetic algorithm is suggested. All genetic operations are constrained into a hyperplane, and optimal problems with equality constraints can be resolved greatly. Results show that hyperplane real coding genetic algorithm is not only simple, but also accurate. It is significant to spread the improved genetic algorithm in optimal irrigation schedule of crop.
