This paper introduces BCH encoder and decoder construction based on efficient channel coding techniques for the digital television terrestrial broadcasting system specified by China. According to BCH code and concatenation structure, an optimized parallel encoding and decoding method is proposed, and the design uses look-up table to simplify the FPGA decoder structure.
