Suitable simulation of mobile radio propagation environment can provide helpful information for communication systems analysis and design. A computer simulation program that can be used to simulate the multipath fading associated with VHF/UHF mobile radio channels is described. This tool provides a flexible set of simulated channel characteristics that can be selected over a wide range. The application of the simulator on modulation techniques and receiver architecture performance evaluation and design is illustrated
