This paper presents a new approach to the problems of analysis and synthesis for nonlinear networked control systems(NNCSs) which can be represented by a T-S fuzzy model with consideration of interval-varying delay and packet dropouts. Neither free weighting matrices nor model transformations are employed in the derivation of system stability criteria. Instead, the significant features are to construct an improved Lyapunov function and to introduce an extended Jessen's inequality. The controllers are shown in terms of linear matrices inequalities, which can be computed through solving a convex optimization problem. Simulation result and numerical example shows the effectiveness of the method.
