The characteristic and system composition and control principle of the sample heating process of Thermo-Mechanical simulator were analyzed, and the temperature measurement method of the heating sample with high current is given. The 0 voltage synchronous of the sample temperature control with minimum delay principle was shown. According the different sample dimensions and voltage levels of transformer and temperature curves in the sample heating process, an adaptive intelligent fuzzy-PID closed loop control strategy is introduced. And the design method for fuzzy-PID controller is described. The application control results shows that, comparing with the traditional PID, adaptive intelligent fuzzy-PID have a better dynamic and static control performance.
