The memory management is one of the most central tasks in embedded operating system. This paper introduces one useful method of dynamic memory management in embedded system based on μC/OS-II. Compared with μC/OS-II's own memory management, the new method is simpler, more stable and lower costs. As demonstrated on searching TV programs in DTV STB, this new dynamic memory management works well and the embedded system can be in a high efficient and more stable operation.
