Decision support system for risk assessment of water inrush in coalmine(WIDSS) is an emerging tool used to integrate the evaluation of highly complex aspects of water inrush problems in coalmine and Decision. A WIDSS approach is based on new approach. The latter uses Bayesian Network & GIS theory for modeling criteria, modeling recognition, modeling reasoning from water inrush occurrence and it can developed to a DSS to probability of water inrush and can handle uncertainty. This system has been demonstrated and promoted in Liyuan coalmine, Henan province, China. The results show that the probability of water inrush is about 0.672. It is so high that we must pay more attention about this area, especially should adjust the mining style and arrange advanced detection.
