Integrating geometric and attribute data is an important research topic in order to develop digital city planning and management system that support 3D visualization and data analysis. Before the introduction of GIS technology to city planning, CAD software has been the main tool for city planning due to its support of point, line and surface geometric models. However, a recent concern is that CAD data model does not support attribute data, which makes it difficult to perform data analysis tasks including data quantitative statistic, and data query. In this paper, an integrated digital model is proposed that supports visualization, compute and exchange. The proposed system is compatible with IFC, and its flexibility is further demonstrated by the Planning result displaying and planning parameters examination system.
