Compared with traditional techniques on identity authentication, fingerprint identification has more advantages owing to its high reliability and accuracy. The thesis describes a fingerprint-based system for the occasion where identity authentication is needed. The system, which could perform the collection, store, comparison of fingerprint, could achieve accurate fingerprint identification.
