This paper presents a new fluid vortex energy capturing system from fluid water as an energy source. The proposed system is characterized for feasibility study on the possibility of the use of a renewal energy system. The system consists of a mechanical impeller, basin, induction pine, and power capturing devices. All components are designed by using computational fluid dynamics under fluid simulation. For validation, a small-scaled system is designed and tested. As a result, the proposed system captured power from the created vortex flow can be attained for 150 kW power in the full scaled system. The experimental results are present in this paper.
