Based on the traditional study of Unit Commitment considering active power security constraints, the voltage and reactive power constraints are introduced to build a relatively comprehensive model. According to Benders decomposition, the problem is decomposed into a master problem and a subproblem. The master problem solves security-constrained unit commitment (SCUC) based on DC power flow model, The subproblem is composed of a series of reactive power optimization problems. Benders cuts produced by the subproblem are introduced to the master problem as the additional constraints. And a corresponding iterative algorithm is also proposed. With the proposed optimization mechanism, all kinds of present methods are applicable, and a flexible decision-making mechanism is set up. It is suitable for the solution of large scale power system as well.
