In this paper, SCADA system for an oilfield in China's Inner Mongolia, as an example, based on a distributed architecture to optimize the system, combined with the three-layer C/S structure and the kinds of appropriate network means of communication, From the working efficiency and stability of the system and such aspects improves system performance.
