In the contract awarding process of "the most advantageous bid", the key factors lie in the stipulation of the selective factors, weighting and the selective criteria. However the selective factors are complicated and include the quantitative and qualitative features. Additionally the existing most advantageous bid selects the quantitative factors only, yet does not include qualitative factors that certainly cannot satisfy the demand of selective operation for "the most advantageous bid" and is regarded as the defect in the selective operation of the existing "most advantageous bid". To break through the current dilemma, the research proposes an integrated selective method by utilizing AHP. In the first step, the supplier selection theory is used to select the important selective factors. Afterwards the concept of hierarchical structure is adopted to simplify the complicated selective hierarchy in obtaining the weighting of selective factors. The research results can be served as the selective model for contract awarding in the construction of "the most advantageous bid" by tendering invitation entity. The proposed method is actually applied in the selective case of bidding for a newly built construction. The selective results prove the proposed method is truly feasible.
