Performance investigations with a DOS/VS-based operating system model

In this paper the development of, DDS/ VS-based operating system model that serves as a basis for performance predictions hoc been demonstrated. The model has been developed o a level that is neither too gross nor too detailed with respect to the desired performance results. Nevertheless, it reflects those hardware and software components that may have a significant influence on system performance.
