In this paper, a new numerical method to solve the time-domain electric field integral equation (TD-EFIE) for arbitrary conducting thin wire antennas in free space is presented. In this formulation which is called time-domain method of moment (TD-MoM), triangular spatial and temporal basis functions are used. By employing the Galerkin's method in spatial domain and the point matching in time domain, it is shown that the integrals involved in the formulation can be evaluated analytically for parallel thin-wire antennas. This advantage of TD-MoM decreases the computation time drastically. The accuracy of method is examined by comparing its results with several EM solvers at hand.
