Although Matthaei's immittance inverter formulae are usually used to design symmetrical types of filters at microwave frequencies, new design formulae should be introduced for filters with asymmetrical networks. Having this fact in mind, the asymmetrical networks were transferred to T-and ¿-types equivalent circuits, and the related immittance inverter parameters were formulated by calculating F-matrixes of the equivalent circuits. And besides, the formulae of the immittance inverter parameters were applied to design a BIT line filter fed by coaxial cables.
