A new energy-saving type of air-conditioning named large and small zone ventilation for loom workshop is proposed in authors' preliminary work. There are four factors which effect greatest large and small zone ventilation and are concerned by most designer and operators. These factors are: relative humidity of air-inlet in working area, speed of air-inlet in working area, relative humidity of background air-inlet, speed of background air-inlet. Combined with engineering practice, main factors of this new type air-conditioning are researched through CFD simulation software and the theory of statistics. Two parameters including relative humidity of fabric surface and comfort of worker near the loom are chosen as criteria for assessment respectively, main factors are sorted and analyzed by the CFD simulation based on four factors and three levels of orthogonal experimental table, which provides a theoretical basis for energy-saving control in the actual operation.
