Problems related to measurements and assessment of transient electromagnetic fields (TF) produced by power supply systems in metro is presented. Method of measurements based on registration of magnetic fields is characterized. Influence of sample rate of using meters on reproduction of waveform of MF and accuracy of measurement results is discussed. It was shown that the use of data logger with sampling of 100 Hz allows reliable registrations of TF events in metro car.
