This paper mainly analyzes the outage capacity and bit error probability (BEP) of the distributed antenna system (DAS) with antenna selective transmission over shadowed Nakagami-m fading channels. Due to the complexity of shadowed channel fading, we propose a gamma-gamma distribution to approach the composite fading environment. Then, generalized analytical expressions of outage capacity and BEP are derived for DAS under antenna selective transmission scheme. By tuning different system parameters, simulation results are presented to verify the accuracy and effectiveness of the theoretical formulas.
