This paper proposes a conceptual model of social capital, external organizational integration and new product development (NPD) performance, and conducts empirical study based on the investigation of domestic manufacturing enterprises. The results show that social capital has positive impact on external organizational integration, external organizational integration has positive impact on NPD performance, and external organizational integration also plays an intermediate role on the relationship between social capital and NPD performance. The results will provide some references for domestic enterprises that are going to improve NPD performance through social capital and external organizational integration.
