To meet real-time and reliability of network-based virtual numerical control system, this article proposes a supporting platform of virtual numerical control system based on RTX and reflective memory network. In this architecture, low real-time tasks ran on Windows while high real-time tasks ran on RTX; control and status information network of virtual CNC based on RT-TCPIP was designed. Network level is designed as RTX and reflective memory network-based network environment according to enormous data quantity of virtual numerical control system and requirement of real-time transmission. Real-time behavior of network is tested, and the real-time restrict between them is also analyzed. According to design and building on one NC milling system, efficiency and reliability was improved.
