In this paper, the TH-PAM UWB system signal model is refined to account more completely for the structure of the blind multi-user detection (MUD) based on compressed subspace tracking firstly. Then, a novel detector whose detection efficiency is much higher than conventional detector designed based on compressed subspace tracking is proposed by making full use of the characteristic of TH-PAM UWB system, and the factors affecting the detector performance are analyzed in details by the theoretical proof and computer simulations. Finally, the results demonstrate the novel detector performs better in low correlation coefficient and low-SNR region.
