In this paper, a method of structural analysis and control of voltage stability in electric power system is proposed based on Generalized Tellegen's theorem. According to the change of power network topology structure, power network will be divided into fundamental network and derivative network. Because Generalized Tellegen's theorem can connect the network topological structure and parameter with port load parameters, the network structure matrix of voltage stability is established. re-distribution rule of increments of ldquoself-admittancerdquo to ldquomutual-admittancerdquo in matrix A is presented and discussed. The analysis and simulation results indicate that the proposed method is a feasible and effective.
