A great variety of application has improved the power system operation and maintenance considerably by changing the manual processing to the fast, convenient automatic method. However, having been developed on different platforms by their individual needs, it could not perform the optimized operation due to the needs of exchanging information to each other. A message integration bus for the integration of electric power system applications is described in this paper. It will provide the basis for efficient information exchange in the electric power system as a whole.
