In the most cases the process of assessing a quality of education level is connected with some popular procedures such as evaluation, accreditation, auditing or different ones. Certainly, their objectivity could be discussed from different points of view and many aspects could be taken into consideration in order to specify the most suitable, universal and objective criteria. Nonetheless, it could be noticed that during assessing quality of education level very often not enough attention is paid to the situation of people who finished their study at the evaluated university. For that reason at the Faculty of Electrical and Information Engineering of Lublin University of Technology some internal research was started. Within its scope was to examine the quality of education, considering different social aspects of graduated students as the primary criteria of the assessment. As the result of this research, it was possible to recognize what changes need to be introduced, to make the process of education more effective and to improve the usefulness of technical knowledge taught at Lublin University of Technology. This article outlines some aspects concerning conducting research mentioned above and presents obtained results followed by conclusions and recommendations.
