This paper proposed a multi-view face tracking system in multimedia teaching recording system. It combines AdaBoost face detection algorithm and CamShift tracking algorithm by taking AdaBoost algorithm as initial face location and CamShift algorithm as follow-up frames tracking, thus construct an effective and practical face tracking system which is very suitable for the multimedia teaching system. The experimental results show this system performs very well in real time face tracking, and it achieves a high tracking rate at 20 frames per second.
