This paper investigates the cache allocation of videos' prefix among multiple proxies. For heterogeneous videos with different lengths, rates, and popularities and heterogeneous proxies with different storage capacities constraints, a heuristic cache allocation algorithm is proposed to minimize remote server use and load balance among multiple proxies. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm.
