Based on the relationship between tourism development and national economic, this paper studied the internal relations between some important index of tourism and economic development by using grey system theory and quantitative economic method, put forward the basic views that we should give full play to the important functions of tourism industry in economic development at the present stage, promote national economic growth, tourism and economic coordination and sustainable development in order to achieve the goal of boosting domestic demands.
