This paper is to study the system level performance of TD-SCDMA employing power control and virtual MIMO, and presents some evaluation methodologies. Open loop power control and determinant pairing scheduling (DPS) are evaluated in virtual MU-MIMO systems. Simulation results show that with power control and DPS, the system throughput could be improved, and the fairness criterion among users could be satisfied.
