Nowadays, three kinds of geo-processing workflow implementation mechanism are concerned under Sensor Web environment: process chain mode based on Sensor Modeling Language (SensorML), service chain mode base on Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) and resource chain mode based on XML Process Definition Language (XPDL). In order to achieve the interoperability of the above three heterogeneous Geo-Processing Workflow, the Resource Oriented Architecture (ROA) approach for Geo-Processing Workflow is proposed in this paper. A scenario for fire hot pixel detection workflow under Earth Observation-1 (EO-1) Sensor Web data service developed by CSISS Sensor Web project is used to test the feasibility of the proposed framework. The experiments show that this framework can achieve the interoperability between BPEL based GPW and XPDL based GPW.
