In general, it is said that "Between an excellent programmer and an unskilled programmer, there is a great difference in software productivity." There are few reports mentioned about productivity in the programming beginners. For programming beginners, we have problems as what kind of programming material is better to learn and to keep interest in computer software seminar. We investigated animation programs that beginners made during the six years in the programming seminar class. Then, the number of lines of source code of the animation created by students are evaluated and discussed about their results. It was found that the maximum amount of LOC was about 40 times of the minimum amount, in the programs.
