System reliability modeling is one of the most important reliability modeling methods for satellite system. Based on the reliability characteristics of satellite system, we used reliability block diagram, fault tree, dynamic fault tree, Markov, and Monte Carlo modeling methods to build reliability models and summarize logic relationships of all kinds of modeling methods, the principle of choosing a modeling methods, and application field. The power controller was modeled as an example to specify the modeling effect. This work indicated that the result of satellite system reliability model is accurate and can be better used to solve the reliability modeling problems of large system. This research results is meaningful to the field of in-orbit satellite system reliability modeling.
