Knowledge management (KM) is a promising business management concept that is gaining wide acceptance. The knowledge is organized as ldquosubject-action-objectrdquo form and the framework of ontology-based knowledge management system is presented in this paper. Weighted shortest path is introduced to calculate semantic similarity between concepts by transforming domain ontology into a directed weighted graph. The domain expert knowledge that deposit into knowledge base can be efficiently searched and ranked according to semantic similarity by the proposed method.
