Design and Implementation of Community GIS Based on COM Technology

The significance of developing community GIS (geographic information system) is put forward and a brief introduction which is related to the characters of COM (component object model) is given. The key technology of database design under the component technology is researched. The function of the system, the design and realization of the model are introduced.
