Based on the concept of transition from theory teaching to practice teaching in advanced vocational education systems, this paper proposes the ldquoproject-orientedrdquo teaching mode, and gives insights to the concept together with the teaching approach of it. To better illustrate the mode of basic project settings and the implementation process, the teaching practice of course is introduced as an example. Finally, the main innovations of this mode as well as the success implementations of important points of this mode are also discussed. It is proved that developing the ldquoproject-orientedrdquo teaching mode courses plays an important role in the computer courses teaching of advanced vocational education.
