The author in this paper focuses on the decision-making of international container multimodal transport route introduces the concept of optimal multimodal transport route, proposes a new reliable combination optimization method, named ant colony algorithm, to solve the problem, then the new method for this problem is presented in the paper. At last, a typical simulation study was carried out to illustrate its validity. The result shows ACO algorithms is of a credible and excellent probability accumulation searching method.
