Hybrid of PBL and ACL to enhance student learning in electromagnetic undergraduate courses

Due to fast-paced technological advances and global economy, the undergraduate education in STEM disciplines, in general, and in Electrical Engineering, in particular, is facing tremendous challenges. To be relevant, it must create new competencies and skills at all cognitive levels: knowledge; comprehension; application; analysis; synthesis; and evaluation [1–3].
